Getting it right

Designing & Building your Home to suit your Families current and future needs should be pretty simple, you envisage your families future and build your home to account for this.

 

This is a similar method to which we work, we can get to know your current requirements by meeting you and your family; along with detailed discussions to assist us in designing the fundamental back bone of your system.

 

As a matter of precaution and experience we future proof all systems by designing into your system extra cabling, these extra cables will allow your home to expand with your family or allow your home to improve as technology improves, minimising the need for expensive refurbishments.

   
   
   

 

First fix installation - your way

We always provide a quotation for our certified engineers to 1st fix your project, however you are not obliged to use us, we understand that you might prefer to get your existing electrician to run our cables while they're running theirs, this should save time and money by not paying 2 companies to perform a very similar task.

 

If you prefer your local electrician to install our cables we can prepare documentation and schematics for your electrician or M&E contractor to conduct first fix wiring. An out of hours Mobile telephone number will be provided for your chosen electrician to contact us should they require telephone assistance.

 

For your piece of mind we can arrange to attend site on either the 1st day of installation to give hands on guidance to your electrician, or we can attendsite upon completion of 1st fix to examine and confirm that 1st fix is satisfactory.

 
 

Second fix installation

Second Fix happens after plastering is complete and consists of..

 
 

As default we will programme the lighting in Eco mode so scene 1 is at the lowest optimal lighting level per room.

   

Commissioning & Training

The only reason to programme & commission a system is to make your system unique, this in turn makes the system easy to use as customised backgrounds, buttons and labels on each Touchscreen provide excellent visual aid so you know exactly what each button will do.

 

A complicated system is a bad system! The system should be simple to use that everybody in the household (whatever the age) can use it including guests.

 

Upon completion of the decoration, PHC will visit your home & perform a more in-depth programming of your system, comprising and not limited to the adjustment of blind & lighting scenes, the customising of Touch screens / Remotes, Adjusting the Default startup & Maximum audio levels per room along with bass and treble adjustment.

 

All Cinema rooms will require the audio system & speakers to be calibrated, this calibration comprises of the adjustment of the Channel levels, speaker distances, Subwoofer placement to reduce bass NUL areas, an Advanced Touchscreen remote will be programmed to enable your entire system to start up from 1 button enabling the remote control to control your lighting, switch on the projector, drop the screen, power on the Blu Ray / Media Server, along with the AV Processor & Power amp, the AV Processor will start up at a defined level to ensure you do not get blasted from your previous cinema viewing.

   

Your home does not operate Mon-Fri, 9-5pm, so why should your support?

A system from PHC is more than just a Smart Home, it's an investment, and with all investments you should expect a high level of support, this is why we provide out of hours telephone support for those unfortunate moments when things do not go according to plan.

 

A folder of your system will be left in the main hub room which will contain documents, We can also keep you updated with new product releases and any system upgrades which may be of interest to you.
