PHC & Rako Lighting solutions can help reduce the CO2 footprint of your property, with a lighting system the main focus is ensuring there is sufficient light for the rooms everyday purpose, however when designing & installing an intelligent lighting system various scenes are created for the different applications for which the room will be used, these scenes will adjust the light output from various lighting circuits depending on the scene selected.

Each lighting scene is designed to give you effective light output for the various different environments of your room, each of the above example scenes show the level of brightness each example circuit has been configured to output, therefore when you enter the room in the evening and activate scene 2, the lighting circuits will adjust to the configured levels, if you then fancy to relax & select scene 4 the lights will adjust to scene 4s light settings.

Most clients rarely adjust the lights outside of the configured lighting scenes, therefore each time a room is entered and the scene is not a full power your saving money on your lighting bills and also reducing the CO2 levels be emitted from your lights, with Rako you can also have a "House Keypad" and so when you leave the house or go to bed you can switch every light of in the property from a single switch. Therefore never having left a light on accidentally.

With Rako you just need buy another Rako keypad, address the keypad to match the room and position the new keypad anywhere (The keypads are practically a wireless remote control that fits into a single back box)

Want to add more lighting to an existing Rako Controlled room?

With Rako you just buy extra dimmers, connect each dimmer to the series of lights you wish to add, address the dimmers to match the room, reprogrammed the keypads to add the new lights to the each scene. Sit back and enjoy your enhanced lighting.

How does Rako Work?

Rako is a very simple but ingenious system,

a Transmitter (Keypad, Remote Control, AV System) sends a series of unique RF Signals which travel through the walls, ceilings & Floors of your property.
the signal is picked by a receiver (Dimmer).
If the signal matches the dimmer, the dimmer will respond appropriately by switching the lights on to a preset brightness, switch the lights off or raise and lower depending on the command sent by the Transmitter.
A Keypad can have 4 scenes, each scene can operate up to 64 Dimmers giving you ultimate control over your lighting & Blinds.

Rako can now be controlled via The Apple iPOD Touch, iPhone, iPhone 3G & iPhone 3GS

Put simply, Rako has no limits.
